PURPOSE:
-------
JAGDOOR5.WCX is a custom Door Menu utility to replace the
existing default [D]oors Menu. It opens with incredible graphics
and lists the doors that you configured in DOORCFG5.WCX! JAGDOOR5
enables you to assign just one key to call this menu and run up to
20 .WCX programs from within! If needed, you can also run the extra
copy of JAGDOOR5!

FEATURES:
--------
* Offers what Jagger Creative Services is known for....
A w e s o m e A n i m a t i o n !
* Will run up to 20 .WCX programs from a single menu key!
* Runs all .WCX programs that use parameters!
* Run an extra copy of JAGDOOR5 if you have more than 20 Doors to run!
These extra copies are in EXTDOOR.ZIP, which is ONLY found in the
archive called JAGGER5.ZIP that contains the latest versions of all
of Jagger's Wildcat 5 wcCode programs!
* Keeps it's own log file that tracks the time, name of the user and
the door that the user has entered! These logs are multi-node aware!
JAGDOOR5 will NOT clutter up your activity logs!
* Keeps it's own error log file so that you will know if you forgot
to configure any portion of JAGDOOR5.
* Excludes up to 5 Security Profiles from JAGDOOR5.
* Installation .WCX program, DOORCFG5.WCX, to ease the setup burden and
creates all files that JAGDOOR5 needs to operate properly.
INSTALLATION:
------------
1. Unzip the contents of the JAGDOOR5 archive into your Wildcat 5
home directory (usually called "C:\WC5\")!
2. Use wcMenu to modify your menu. All you have to do is change
the Doors Menu key to Run a wcCode program, then choose "JAGDOOR5"
from your choices of wcCode programs to run!
3. Also use wcMenu and set up your Sysop Menu to run DOORCFG5.WCX.
After configuration you can remove DOORCFG5.WCX from your Sysop
Menu unless you think you will be reconfiguring JAGDOOR5 often.
There is an alternate way to run DOORCFG5.WCX without setting it
up as a menu choice. This alternate method is as follows:
In DOS, from the Main WildCat! Home directory run DOORCFG5.WCX
using the wcRun -r command line switch. Do NOT use the ".WCX"
on the end! Example:
wcRun -r doorcfg5
4. Whether you run DOORCFG5.WCX as a menu choice or from DOS, simply
run it to set up and configure JAGDOOR5! DOORCFG5.WCX will take
you step by step through the configuration process. If you need
to make changes later, simply rerun DOORCFG5.WCX!
5. You're done, now run JAGDOOR5!
ENTERING YOUR DOORS IN DOORCFG5.WCX:
-----------------------------------
JAGDOOR5's configuration is different with Wildcat 5! Here is how
you MUST enter your .WCX files:
* WCX files MUST be located in your Wildcat 5 home directory (this
is usually "C:\WC5\")! When entering .WCX files, ONLY enter the
NAME of the wcCode program and do NOT include the ".WCX" on the end!
Example .WCX NAME entry : [JAGSTAT5 ]
* Menu Titles are the titles for the doors that JAGDOOR5 will run.
These are the titles that the online user will see.
Example MENU TITLE entry : [My Stats Door ]
* Some .WCX programs use parameters. This is usually entered when
you add your wcCode to your menus with wcMenu. With JAGDOOR5, just
enter the parameters for each .WCX in DOORCFG5! If your .WCX program
doesn't use parameters then just press [Enter] for your entry.
Example PARAMETERS entry : [C:\Parameters\ ]
ADDING DOORS:
------------
If you have ALREADY configured JAGDOOR5 but DIDN'T use the maximum
20 Doors, then you can choose "Add Doors" while running DOORCFG5.WCX!
This is so you don't have to re-enter all the doors and paths that you
have already configured. But if you have the max of 20 doors entered
and you want to change any of them, you'll have to choose "Reconfigure",
which is the equivalent of starting your JAGDOOR5 configuration over.
RUNNING THE EXTRA COPY OF JAGDOOR5:
----------------------------------
If you have MORE THAN 20 DOORS, then you can run the extra copy of
JAGDOOR5 (included in EXTDOOR.ZIP)! EXTDOOR.ZIP can be found in the
archive called JAGGER5.ZIP on the MSI HQ BBS. JAGGER5.ZIP contains
the latest versions of all of Jagger's Wildcat 5 wcCode programs! The
extra copy has it's own configuration .WCX! The extra copy is called:
DOOR-B.WCX and DOORCFGB.WCX (the setup .WCX)
If you run this extra copy of JAGDOOR5, it and it's configuration .WCX
MUST be located in your Wildcat 5 Homr directory. You can run this
extra copy by following the same installation procedure as mentioned
above. You can also run this extra copy along with the original copy
of JAGDOOR5 by doing this:
1) Set up your Main Menu to run JAGDOOR5, follow the installation
procedure mentioned in this file.
2) Configure Door #20 to run your extra copy called DOOR-B.WCX
(remember to NOT use the ".WCX" when your setting JAGDOOR5
up..just enter "DOOR-B")! Give Door #20 the title "More Doors".
3) Finally, run DOORCFGB.WCX to configure DOOR-B.WCX and enter in
all of your "extra" doors!
5) If you're registered, then copy JAGDOOR5.KEY into your Wildcat
DATA directory (usually it's "C:\WC5\DATA\") and overwrite the
JAGDOOR5.KEY that exists!
Each configuration .WCX program(s) will ask for your registration #.
If you're registered and you're going to use the extra copy, you don't
want to have to enter your number several times, so just enter "0"....
then AFTER you complete your setup you can copy JAGDOOR5.KEY into your
\DATA directory as mentioned in step 5 above.
Only run the extra copy of JAGDOOR5 if you have more than 20 Doors to
run. Otherwise, there is no need to run the extra copy.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
--------------
All log files, configuration files, and key files for registered users
will be located in your Wildcat 5 data directory (usual
